Updating your profile and business data
This is what Alice knows about your business — and how you keep it current. The richer it is, the more personal and useful every answer becomes. There are two parts.
Profile — who your business is. Your business's identity: name, your title, business type, industry, the year it was founded, address, and a short bio. This is the picture an advisor uses when it introduces your business, and what can appear on a public profile.
Business Data — the numbers and context. The detail your board uses to personalize its recommendations, organized into simple tabs you fill in over time: Basics, Financials, Financial operations, Customers & sales, Marketing, How you work, Skills & tools, Track record, Notes & context, and Integrations. A "profile complete" percentage shows how much of the picture your board has and nudges you to fill the gaps.
Why it matters:
- Most of it fills itself in. You can just talk to Alice — mention that revenue changed or a new hire started, and Alice can keep the record up to date for you. It's designed to confirm important changes and keep you in control. No spreadsheet homework required.
- More context means better advice. Every detail makes your board's recommendations sharper and more specific to your business.
- It's the quiet engine behind everything. The more you tell Alice, the more the whole product is tailored to you.
